One day in Hiroshima + Miyajima Island 🦌🇯🇵

Before I came here, I only knew Hiroshima because of the pictures in my history books and recently, because of that famous torii gates. I’m so amazed by how this city has rebuilt from the ashes of tragedy and is now such a vibrant place.

If you’re coming to Hiroshima for a day trip and for the first time, you can follow what I did and spend your day at 2 main places:
📍 Miyajima Island
📍 Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

I wish I had more time to explore but I guess this means I’ll have to come back again someday.
