Taking the Sunrise Seto in a Single Twin from Takamatsu to Tokyo

As part of a longer trip, I took the Sunrise Seto sleeper train instead of the more common Shinkansen + hotel in Tokyo. I saved a bit of money but was it worth the early arrival (7:00am), narrow bed, and bumpy ride?
