The mascot looks hideous. It doesn't inspire any confidence in the Expo.
Would you go to the Osaka Expo 2025?
Looked up the ticket price… 55$ no? This is essentially a museum and would think its mostly country pr so dont gealt why both tickets and food is so high? Especially compared to japanese wages right?
I do like these things but even with epcot right in my backyard, i only went when i got free tickets from working there and florida gets about 130 mil vistors compared to japans 30 ish mil.
I'm going to Japan for 6 weeks and going to go 4 times to the expo.
I'm most looking forward to the touchable hologram at 'Future City' Niterra
Thank you for making this video. I was wondering if I should fly to Osaka just for the expo. Looks fun but maybe if I had other things to do in Osaka. But would be nice to catch it before it finishes.
Thank you for this! I was on the fence because as much as I think I would appreciate it, I’m taking my siblings to Japan for the first time and I don’t think they’ll like it so much. Now I don’t feel too bad about missing it.
I liked it enough to sacrifice a day in Nagoya to go for a second day. Many pavilions I wanted to go to but didn’t have time.
I never thought the Expo ever tried to advertise itself as an "amusement park", so I'm not surprised by those disappointed by the experience expecting as such. Personally I'm excited to go when I'm there in September, but only have a day to explore so I'm trying to figure out the best pavilions to visit.
I guess it might be kinda boring
But welp, already bought the ticket ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I went, i agree with basically everything in this video. The one I'd recommend seeing the Earth at Night, it had no line and was a really cool piece focusing on japanese craftmanship. Besides that id say you should walk around the whole wood circle and see everything from above.
As a tourist it was worth the price ($25) but I didnt feel like waiting in any 1-2 hour lines to see a lot of the cooler pavilions, i would probably only go if i was already in Osaka or nearby like Kyoto, wouldnt make crazy travel plans to go see it.
In the USA Pavilion, when the star character was singing the song "together", he wasn't including the mass deportations and the countries with increased tariffs, right?
I live in Osaka. I have no idea when and how often I should go.
