From KEN-O EXPWY Sagamihara IC to JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station in Niigata Prefecture

We enter the Kan-Etsu Expressway from the Ken-Ō Expressway at Sagamihara IC, passing through the Tsurugashima Junction. Traveling along the Kan-Etsu Expressway, we go through Saitama and Gunma Prefectures, heading toward JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station in Niigata Prefecture. Around the Shibukawa-Ikaho area, the snow-capped peaks of the Tanigawa Mountain Range come into view ahead. After passing through the Kan-Etsu Tunnel—approximately 11 kilometers long and the second longest tunnel in Japan—you are greeted by the beautiful snow-covered landscape of Yuzawa. After arriving at JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station, we made our way to NASPA New Otani. Many people were still enjoying skiing and snowboarding there.
