Ukrainian government officials have revealed details about their pavilion at the upcoming World Expo in Osaka. They plan to display objects that symbolize life under Russia’s invasion.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy announced in Kyiv on Friday that the pavilion will be titled “Not For Sale.”

Visitors will find a store where nothing can be purchased. It carries a message that Ukraine’s democracy cannot be sold or bought.

There will be 18 items on display, including a damaged helmet used in work to restore a power facility attacked by Russia, and a rescue boat used after a dam collapsed.

Each item has a barcode that can be scanned to watch videos, such as children studying in a bomb shelter.

Deputy economy minister Tetyana Berezhna said the Expo will be a great chance to show what Ukrainians are going through and why they are standing strong.

Japan’s Ambassador to Ukraine Nakagome Masashi said he hopes visitors will gain a deeper understanding of what Ukrainians have endured over the past three years.

The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai will open on April 13.
