• Drive up to Shiroyama Observatory for a panoramic view of Sakurajima and the city.
• Try Kagoshima’s famous kurobuta tonkatsu (black pork cutlet) for dinner.
• Stay overnight in the city, close to local restaurants and shops.

🌋 Day 2: Sakurajima & Kanoya
• Take the car ferry to Sakurajima and drive around the active volcano.
• Stop at the Sakurajima Visitor Center & Arimura Lava Observation Deck to see lava fields and learn about the island’s history.
• Drive to Kanoya Air Base Museum, home to historic fighter jets and aviation exhibits.
