  1. For high class used watches I recommend Nakano Broadway. But they are still very expansive.

  2. Put your recommendations in the comments! 😎👍🏼
For those who love any of these things, please let me know if you have your own favorite stores/products/etc!

  3. I have an additional tip for shopping, but YT will censor it 🤮 This platform is so sick when it comes to censorship.

  4. I've been binge watching your content & have marked down a LOT of your suggestions / recommendations for our first trip to Japan in a few weeks. Can NOT wait. Thank you for putting together awesome content. My poor wallet. lol

  5. Postage stamps are also recommended. Located right in front of Tokyo Station, the terminus for the Shinkansen bullet train, 東京中央郵便局 (Tokyo Central Post Office) has a wide selection of stamps depicting Japanese landscapes. 📮

  6. Great suggestions, thank you so much! I think, half of them I've brought with me last year. Including chop sticks, sake and sake bowls, a Kikuichimonji boning knife and a KUOE Old Smith 90/007, just like your one – great choise!! (But mine in silver with white dial and blue hands, bought at the Kyoto flagship store. Amazing place!) One more recommendation: Ichiran ramen, a pack of 5 servings. This is really delicious and brings the japanese ramen culture to your place. And never forget: experiences and new friends!!! I love Japan. Abby, keep on going!!!

  7. I somehow imagine the tours you give in Kyoto just being you leading unsuspecting tourists into 7/11 and forcing them to buy black thunder 🤣

  8. I love your watch. I missed going to kuoe in Kyoto. But we’ll be back :). I personally collect seikos and Casio. Vintage watches are nice in Japan too

  9. Something I did was buy lots of Kit Kats in different flavors and make up little bags of the mixed flavors for family and friends. They go wild. I also bought little change purses and glasses cases made of silk. I hadn't thought about writing pens. That's a good idea for my next trip over. Thanks for another great video Abby!

  10. Normally I will get food related souvenirs like Kinokuniya supermarket in-house best seller snacks especially love their soy donuts.. Also unique light roast coffee beans from Glitch and Bongen but can get quite expensive ..fancy Shoyu with dashi ingredients inside the bottle to give it more umami..

  11. What an amazing video! Thank you so much for the detail. Made loads of notes for my visit in a couple of weeks!

  12. I highly recommand wares or clothes knives, some stuff who are less cringe than all figurine and cheap souvenirs who take much room that you dont have to show, and will stay with you long time,
Another advice is local shop noone else will have it, and that you wont find it online..
by example the Kumamon from kumamoto mascott a Tshirt of specific place, a wood bowl of kanazawa a pottry from craftmen of onsen with unic local ash in glare, official shop of museum or national Park or city…. M'y 3 favorite were Tshirt from yakushima, rsrrock festival, concert shop of band.
The first time i went i was full of useless fig plush etc.. the second time i bought a luggage for fill itnlasrbrwo days lol, but bring lot pottry clothes and more rarely 50 cd from a big shop, yeah i got m'y favorite jrock song and band in cd.

  13. My wife and myself will be in Tokyo Japan in six weeks. I have watched hundreds of videos about Japan and this by far has been the most helpful for me. Thank you so much for this.
