Italian leather goods brand Coccinelle, positioned in the affordable luxury segment, continues to expand internationally. The brand is chiefly focused on the Asian market and notably Japan, where it has announced it will open four new pop-up stores. Two in Tokyo, at Nihombashi Takashimaya and Ginza Mitsukoshi, and one each in the cities of Yokohama and Nagoya – the latter scheduled for the end of April.

In a press release, Coccinelle said it recorded double-digit growth in fiscal 2024, generating a revenue of €104 million, up 10% over the previous year.
The opening of the new Japanese pop-up stores “marks a further step forward in Coccinelle’s global strategy. The brand currently operates 120 stores and is present in over 1,300 retail outlets between top department stores, multibrand retailers and duty-free shops in 45 countries worldwide,” said Coccinelle in the press release.
