Snow adventure in Japan, Kagura backcountry skiing
After injuring my knee in Asahikawa, it had been a while since my last backcountry tour. This time, I joined a tour guided by CHICKA, accessing the backcountry area from Kagura Ski Resort. With some powder still left and perfect bluebird conditions, it was truly The Day!
CHICKA’s guided tour also included a delicious lunch box from the local restaurant Gaia. The juicy hamburger steak, fluffy dashi maki tamago, and the cheesecake for dessert were absolutely amazing.
