I had a cosplay photoshoot in the afternoon in Yokohama Chinatown, so I arrived a few hours earlier to explore the area.

''A gloomy day'' – but Chukagai looked quite optimistic in red, green, gold or yellow, with all the lanterns, dragons ❤💚💛 🐲, and foood 😋😆!! And folks walking, laughing, eating 😋😁, such a relaxed weekend… We really enjoyed the Motomachi and waterfront walk later (interesting shot at 39:30 – a ''roofed'' river 😄) – the Yamashita Park, impressive Hikawa Maru museum ship, a former ocean liner 🌊 (built 1929), Marine Tower, and there was even a nice view of Minatomirai on the horizon 👍🤗💙 (The jackhammer sound in the quiet park was fun, such is life 🤫😅🤣)

wow this is the most 'China-like' chinatown I've ever seen. Small alleyways that mix residential entrances and restaurants. The fuzzy boundary between the public street and the inside of a business. Pots steaming away and plenty of people shuffling past. Definitely will make sure to visit here next time i go to Japan
