Families display Hina dolls leading up to the festival and take them down promptly after, as an old wivesโ tale warns that delaying might delay a daughter’s marriage! ๐ฒ
One of the most unique and heartwarming customs of this festival is the floating of paper dolls on a pond, a symbolic act to wish for childrenโs health and happiness. ๐๏ธ๐
