Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine
Hidden in the cypress forests of Takamori, a small town at the foot of Mt. Aso, this shrine looks like something out of a fantasy world. 🌿
A path with 100 stone lanterns covered in moss leads to Ugetoiwa, a massive rock with a 10-meter hole. According to legend, the hole was made when a demon escaped from the rock.
The legend says that if such a hole can be created, no challenge is too big to overcome, and the rock has come to symbolize triumph over difficult obstacles. 💫
