133)Ichiba Castle (Aichi, Japan)A hybrid castle of medieval and early modern times
It is located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture.
It is located in the area that was known as Obara Village before the merger.
The castle was built in 1502 and was the residence of the Suzuki clan for 90 years until they moved out in 1592.
The Suzuki clan, who served Tokugawa Ieyasu, achieved great military exploits, and when they received an increase in their territory in 1583, they carried out major renovations to the castle.
During the major renovation, stone walls were built and the castle was transformed from a medieval castle into an early modern one.
In 1590, the castle was evicted from Ichiba Castle because it disobeyed Tokugawa Ieyasu’s order to move its territory to the Kanto region, and in 1592 it was abandoned.
This is a video of a 49-year-old bachelor who silently visited the castle by himself.
I am posting a visit record of historical remains such as castle ruins that I visited as I thought, based on the belief that I do not flock and do not flirt.
