    Nice vLog Miki! I visited Miyajima in 2019, it was around sunset, so the tide was starting to come in, but I did get to walk a bit close to the Torii

    When you go to Hiroshima, in my opinion, you should spend 1 night in Hiroshima to visit the Atomic bomb museum and the memorial. Both are very depressing but extremely important places to see, and I hope that it will never happen again, that an atomic bomb will be dropped. The first time I visited the museum, I was crying and trembling when I saw the pictures and the recounters of the people who died, or suffered severly from the atomic bomb.

    After or before spending a night in Hiroshima, you should spend 1-2 nights on Miyajima, as suggested by MIKI (and go there as she suggest it). Its such a lovely relaxed beautiful island, and its a perfect place to stay in a ryokan (a traditional japanese inn), where you can enjoy wonderful food, and onsen (japanese baths). Also, after and before the many many day visitors arrive, its so beautiful & relaxed.

    Thank you for the wonderful video, Miki-san! I will be visiting Hiroshima and Miyajima in October this year. I hope to do the hiking course and ride on the ropeway there. It looks so beautiful!

    Visit miyajima in Dec 2024.. many school kid tour groups… very beautiful with the autumn leaves.. the main shrines and shopping street was crowded but when we walk further up the hill it was quiet & peaceful

    I really enjoyed your video on Miyajima Island. I always wondered how it is like during winter time. It is a beautiful place that I truly enjoyed while visiting during the summer time.
