The Yokohama Bay Bridge is one of the world’s largest cable-stayed bridges. It is a two-tiered structure that forms part of the Bayshore Route, connecting Honmoku Pier and Daikoku Pier. The upper level is part of the Metropolitan Expressway, while the lower level is National Route 357. The distance between the two towers is 460 meters, and the clearance beneath the bridge is 55 meters, allowing even the world’s largest cruise ship, the Queen Elizabeth II, to pass through.
