Himeji Castle, Train & Walk (4K) (Virtual Tour) (AJ Walks)
After checking into Fukuyama in the previous video, I jumped back onto the Sanyo Shinkansen and continued East, changing services at Okayama (and popping into a Bic Camera to get a USB-C backup stick for my phone memory), and arriving at Himeji before sunset. It was too late in the day to take the castle tour (maybe next time) but the view would have been a bit affected by the rock concert being set up in the front area anyway (Novel Bright, on their Circus tour).
While searching for a good place to observe the castle during the sunset, I saw on the map a nearby park (Otokoyama Haisuiike park to be exact, for the curious) where I was able to set up recording an timelapse. And as luck would have it, being the first day in October, the castle was even lit up bright pink for breast cancer awareness!
