  1. Yes, I would. I would eat that over a western-style breakfast any day. It may be typical at that hotel, but it's not typical or traditional. It's likely not complimentary with the hotel room either. They may serve okayu – Japanese rice porridge (congee) because a large number of Chinese guests prefer it. Porridge has regular and not sticky rice.

  2. Look, it is beautiful, I’m sure it will taste wonderful.

    And there was probably a nutritionist that made sure it was a balanced low calorie meal.

    But if THAT is what you expect to keep a man on his feet and working possibly all day then it is severely lacking.

    A half dozen eggs beaten and pan fired for a quick scramble will serve you better.

  3. Yum. I'd love everything but the strawberry. I'm allergic. How would it be proper to handle a food allergy without offending the chef or staff?
