Hakone trip In A 100 Years Old Luxury Onsen Hotel | Travel Vlog | Japanese Food | Hakone Shrine
The garden views were stunning, and the food was exceptional. Although the location was a bit remote, it was incredibly peaceful, making the stay very comfortable.
Our driver was quite senior, and we felt a bit guilty asking him to help with the luggage multiple times. Out of respect, we sincerely thanked him for his assistance.
Due to the weather, we couldn’t fully explore Hakone. We only managed to visit the Hakone Open-Air Museum and Hakone Shrine.
Many people say the Open-Air Museum is hard to understand, but I personally enjoyed it—except for the Picasso Pavilion.
As for Hakone Shrine, I felt it wasn’t worth making a special trip, though the scenery around Lake Ashi was indeed beautiful.
The nearby small shops were cozy, and I recommend visiting the marquetry shop run by an elderly lady near the intersection.
Hakone is definitely a place I’d love to visit again.
