“There’s No More Kids In Japan…They Closed The Schools”
In this video I’m hitchhiking from Okayama, Japan to Tottori, Japan. On the way I’m lucky enough to meet some very nice people, and one of them will tell me about the population decline problem in the rural area, especially in Okayama and Tottori. They started closing the schools as there are not enough pupils. Towards the end I make my way to the Japanese sand dunes of Tottori, and on the way I meet Diane, who is a German traveler about to start her studies in Nagoya.
