【宮本武蔵ゆかりの地】宿場町平福の町並み（Post town Hirafuku／兵庫県佐用町：Sayo-cho, Hyogo, Japan

I strolled around Hirafuku, a post town that flourished during the Edo period.
The rows of old houses with small windows and lattice windows along the old roads and the storehouses on stone walls along the Sayo River still convey the atmosphere of the past.
This is the place where the swordsman Miyamoto Musashi had his first duel.
When I visited, there was almost no wind and the view reflected on the surface of the Sayo River was beautiful.

江戸時代に栄えた宿場町・平福を散策しました。
旧街道沿いにある連小窓と千本格子を持つ古い家並みや、佐用川沿いの石垣上の土蔵群が、往時の面影を今に伝えています。
剣豪・宮本武蔵が初めて決闘した場所もあります。
私が訪れた時は、風もほとんどなく作用川の水面に反射する景色がとても綺麗でした。
