This Yushima is 6km long, and you can walk around it in 1-2 hours. There are more cats than people on this island.

The island was overrun with rats, so cats were released, and now the island is overrun with cats.

Also, 15 minutes walk from the port is a lighthouse that was built in 1916 and has been in operation for over 100 years.

The lighthouse was selected as the “Love Lighthouse” by the Japan Romanticist Association in 2016.
