It is normal. Everyone has different sides. You would not have the same attitude to your parents and your classmates. Otherwise that would be problematics.

I love Japanese culture, and I know some Japanese are truly nice and helpful, and some others just pretend to be nice. That is ok, this is everywhere.
I met many really friendly elderly Japanese and I can tell they are truly nice and helpful. When I talked to them, the way they smile and laugh showed them they are really nice.
Two face I mean people working in hotels or customer service. They are being professional and do their works. I completely understand. It is their jobs.
The number of brain rot comments from weebs is ridiculous. They just think everything in Japan is what they think in their mind. I deleted a lot of them.

US, Canada, UK, Australia are all not perfect as well. People have the idea these countries are perfect
