Quite a touristy place. No talking or faces, natural surround sound only.
If you are in Tokyo and want to see autumn leaves and especially red maple leaves, Takao is the easiest place. I started my hike from the station, took the mountain lift, and then hiked to the top. On the way up, I passed by the Takaosan Yakuo-in Temple and the Monkey Park. After reaching the peak, I went down through a valley, following along a small water stream. I also saw the Biwa Waterfall.

    An impressive long colourful movie 🍁🌲🍂💙! So thrilling to follow your steps down the narrow trail, parts of it must have been pretty slippery + lots of tree roots, stones, stairs, adventurous when carrying all the gear – and still you were able to look for the best views of the wild around, awesome 🥰👍! Also interesting to see all the folks walking up hill, enjoy the chair lift ride, and great views from the top, the city below, mountains – and the perfect sky for filming 💙☁️☀️

    поднимался два раза на Такао, во второй раз удалось увидеть Фудзи. Очень красиво место. Всем, кто поедет, рекомендую подниматься по самой длинной тропе.
