We took a trip to #Osaka , Japan about two weeks ago, and I used Airbnb (not a sponsor) for about everything except the flights. And while I have a few more videos to go on this trip, here are some links/tips you’ll want to check out:

1. If you are going to Universal Osaka with adults buy Express pass, more money but less waiting and the lines are looong!
2.Grab a timed ticket first for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
3. Do not visit this place on a weekend, it was crowded on a Wednesday, I can only imagine the weekends!
4. Use the kiddy areas, they are usually indoors and air conditioned.
5. Ride as much as you can during night parade, I swear people flock to the parade, ignore it and take advantage of the short lines.

IN THIS VIDEO: Osaka Walking tour with Masaaki:
Description: About your host, Masaaki
Hi there, I’m Masa. I am a nationally licensed tour guide. I just moved back to Japan, where I was born and grew up, after living in USA for 25 years. I’ll show you what Osaka has to offer by walking around Shinsekai and Minami area, southern part of Osaka City, where you can find REAL Osaka. This is a good tour for you to familiarize yourself to the city and also Japan over all. I’ll try my best to let you have a good time while you’re in my beloved city, Osaka!!
What weβll do
The symbolic Tsutenkaku Tower in the center, Shinsekai was originally developed as the theme park called Luna Park in 1912. Since then it has been the epicenter of Osaka’s entertainment district.
Osaka is known as the food capital of Japan, or kitchen of Japan, and you will see why once you get there. There are SO MANY restaurants all over the city, and ALL KINDS! I’ll show you not only the variety of foods Osaka can offer but also the history of the area, Japanese tradition and everyday life of local people. Osaka has been the city of merchants since the Edo period (early 17th century), and Ebisu deity has been well admired by the locals in Osaka since we believe Ebisu brings prosperity to us. We can visit Imamiya Ebisu Shrine if that interests you.
After exploring Shinsekai area, we will walk to Osaka Minami area to show you more interesting places, including world-famous “Dotonbori”.
While walking through the old Osaka neighborhoods, we come across many stores or facilities that reflect local people’s life. I will show them and explain about them along the way as well.
Its about 2 hours walking and you will love him! Please tell him I sent you!!
