This is my experience from our billet train ride from Kobe to Himeji. This train was slower because it was local so it was moving under 200km/h. You can see some of the faster trains in the background passing by. They can reach speeds over 500km/h but usually run at about 360km/h. The average delay of theses super trains is 2 second so if you need to be somewhere on time, you will be there 🙂
