How a Picture Led to A Calm Journey in Kagoshima – A Japan Adventure No One Else Will Tell You About

My journey led me to Kagoshima, the southern-most major city in Kyushu, Japan. I have a picture of the city that I really liked, so I set out to find its origin, and that’s how an unexpected adventure unfolded.

This is the third episode of ‘It’s Still Summer in Kyushu’, a vlog series where I take you on a 9-day journey across Kyushu.

  1. F?
Really enjoyed your journey! Felt so simple and low-key, you didn’t pull out a Leica or Fuji X100VI to snap amazing shots, and instead shared the journey with us. Kudos 😊

  2. Fuck the Tokai Cartel, but the national pass is most certainly still worth it. Going from Tokyo to Hakodate and back pays for itself.,

  3. now I just have to ask, what camera do you use for these videos? The cinematography is almost up to par with the top japanese youtubers right now.

  4. F! Biggest cliffhanger!
Really enjoy your videos and approach to the journeys across Japan. It is quite the opposite of how we travel (almost everything is planned ahead), but nevertheless it´s so refreshing to watch you on your journey. You have a good eye for the little details. Take care and looking foward to more! 🙂

  5. Dude… Every time I watch a new video of yours it gives me such a feeling of perfect contentment. Such great vibes.

  6. Will, I love Kagoshima! Was there a year ago, and it was almost 24 hours before I saw another Caucasian face,
and that was fine with me. Really felt like I was in Japan,
as opposed to Kyoto, Osaka or Tokyo, where it's one big
Touristic Grind these days. Love your Vids and Vibes, sir…
    Keep it up! 😄❤🍜🍣⛩🌋
