Day Trip Sapporo to Asahikawa to see the Penguin Parade | Ltd express soya train | Snowy morning
I took the earliest train from Sapporo to Asahikawa to go to Asahiyama Zoo. In the winter there’s a penguin parade show which only has 2 slots. One in the morning at 11am and another in the evening i think 2.30pm.
So i have to make sure no errors and time myself as it takes quite a while 1 hour and 28 minutes from sapporo to asahikawa then another 40 min bus ride to the zoo from asahikawa station
Fingers crossed that i don’t miss the penguin parade. Anyway it was snowing so much the night before that very thick snow filled up surrounding. This is expected in Hokkaido prefecture especially winter time.
