Part of the reason why we decided to embark on this epic journey was so that we were able to spend more time with family. Incidentally, Wedee’s grandma had already planned a trip to Tokyo to attend a concert by her favorite Japanese Popstar – Kiyoshi Hikawa. This was a very special moment for us as this is our very first time abroad travelling with Wedee’s grandma, and we were very fortunate to be able to show our joys of travel together with family.
We matched our arrival itinerary, hung out at the airport for a few hours and finally picked her up at the arrival terminal by the Airport, jumped on board the JR rail and headed towards a small yet modern city center in Chiba.
Once we arrived, we had SUSHI and ricebowls! Thereafter, we checked into a hotel within the same building as the train terminal and rest up for the big day to take grandma for her concert.
