Unsurprisingly airbnb apartments cost a lot less to rent up in Sapporo compared to cities like Tokyo, Nagoya, etc. Also I’m told the seismic activity is far less a problem on this island in Japan, so that’s another plus for living in Sapporo! It really is such a nice city. Hope to visit it again down the line.
