This is the Japan I love to experience. Its not all temples, shrines, ramen shops, and family mart chicken. I mean it is all those things but there is another side if you have the time and don’t mind slowing down.
Most of my days in Japan are spent in Okayama and Osaka. If you walk around enough in these places you will always find a random rice field mixed in with the homes. Having grown up in Canada there is usually a very clear separation between residential and farm land. For me this coexistence between the two is unique and I really enjoy finding the beauty in a simple place that I would normally just pass in a moment without blinking an eye. I hope you like what I’ve tried to do with this video.
