I took the Shin Nihonkai Ferry from Osaka/Kyoto to Hokkaido, JAPAN. 🚢
I chose the cheapest room, “Tourist A.” While a plane takes only 2 hours, the ferry ride lasts over 21 hours. But it’s worth it! Most ferries arrive early, but this one reaches Hokkaido the next night, allowing for a full day of enjoying the sea. 🌊

・Sailing the seas during the day is amazing!
・With no airport in Kyoto, the ferry is a great option.
・Bringing a lint remover was a smart choice for passing the time.
・I might be the first person to remove lint on a ferry!
・A book is essential, but be cautious with small text to avoid motion sickness.
・Hokkaido in winter exceeded my expectations—69 times better! ❄️
