Tsu-dome is the third place related to Snow festival besides Susukino and Oodori. It’s a bit far from the center but there are direct buses going from Susukino and Oodori to Tsu-dome.
Tsu-dome is a bit different, it’s not about looking around but more about action. Also it’s more children oriented. It has as outdoor activities as indoor. You can ride down from different hills, carve your own cup out of ice, play snowballs and just dig into snow.
Be careful it get closed at 5pm and some food stalls start closing from 4pm.

At first I did not understand that “Tsudome” is partially English, so I pronounced it as romaji ツドメ.
