First Time in Japan Alone: Cinematic Highlights ft. F1 Grand Prix

Embarking on My First Solo Trip to Japan: A Journey of Discovery, F1, and Tranquility

This was not only my first solo trip but also my first time visiting Japan. Planning the trip was overwhelming at first, especially since I had never been to Japan before. From the moment I set foot in the country, I was amazed—and a little intimidated—by the complex transportation system. However, it only took me a few days to get the hang of the trains and buses, thanks to the incredible hospitality of the locals who were always ready to guide me.

Throughout my journey, I had the pleasure of conversing with local strangers and even made a few friends along the way, although these moments aren’t shown in the video. One of the highlights was attending the Japan Grand Prix at Suzuka—my first F1 experience, which truly exceeded my expectations. The crowd management was efficient and seamless, and being part of the F1 community felt incredible. I even had the chance to do a track walk, a dream come true as an F1 fan. The sense of belonging among fellow fans was heartwarming—oh, how much I love F1!

I explored Nara, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, and Kinosaki Onsen, all of which provided a chill and slower pace compared to the hustle often shown on social media. Kinosaki Onsen was my favorite, a peaceful and authentic experience filled mostly with local visitors. The serenity of this place moved me deeply, and I spent two blissful days there, even visiting four out of the seven onsens. It was my first time experiencing a public bath, and the feeling of healing both physically and mentally was beyond my expectations.

Another memorable stop was at Mr. Hiro Car Studio, filled with classic cars and racing simulators. As a car and motorsport enthusiast, especially with a love for JDM culture, this visit was a dream come true.

Through the entire journey, traveling solo allowed me to discover a deeper sense of myself. I found the courage to strike up conversations with strangers and explore places on my own terms. While I hope to visit Japan again in the future, exploring different places with the same relaxing vibe, next time I hope to share the experience with a loved one.
