8k VR |Japanese Fireworks on a Ferry |Annual Summer Festival in Takamatsu | Fireworks Ambience Sound
On my channel, I upload videos of various locations in the hope that people will enjoy the sound of rain and other pleasant sounds, but I also wanted to upload a video of fireworks to show the culture of the Setouchi region. I don’t think the sound of the fireworks is something you can listen to for very long, but I would be happy to give it a listen from time to time.
The annual festival, known as the “Takamatsu Festival,” is held annually from August 12 to 14, with the 2024 summer festival featuring fireworks on August 13.
In Japan, fireworks are one of the rarest events of the year, as they are not a regular event and only occur once or twice a year. This is one of the reasons why Japanese people flock to the fireworks sites. As you can see in this video, the audience is mostly Japanese, with no foreign tourists. And it is also notable that many of them are families with Japanese children. Japanese people love fireworks, so the fireworks sites are very crowded with people. So I figured that it would be less crowded on the ferry, and that is where I shot this video on the ferry.

In case you are wondering, I recorded the sound of these fireworks as ambisonic audio, but since the fireworks are so loud, we may not really perceive the effect.
