Heading to Japan? Don’t forget these three must-have items!
First, comfortable shoes. Japan’s cities rely heavily on trains, so you’ll be walking a lot through stations, stairs, and tourist spots. Places like Kyoto have many hills, so comfy shoes are essential.
Second, a reusable bag. Plastic bags aren’t free in Japan. With supermarkets and convenience stores everywhere, you might visit them daily or even for every meal. A reusable bag saves money and is eco-friendly.
Third, a small bag. Japan has an extensive public transportation system, including trains and buses. This means you’ll need to carry your belongings with you all the time. Trains can get crowded, especially during rush hour. A small bag is more convenient and considerate of others.
