The interior of the Tirano railway station is considered Swiss territory. Therefore Swiss VAT is applied to tickets and souvenirs sold from the ticket office of the Tirano railway station. Furthermore, it is possible to send luggage from any railway station in Switzerland to the Tirano railway station without the need to fill in the usual customs declaration drawn up on the appropriate form. The Swiss internal rate is also applied to baggage sent to the Tirano train station

It's not true that they don't carry out checks: since the Tirano railway station is also considered Swiss territory, there is a MONOPOLY AGENCY station (former customs agency sector) right before leaving the station. It is therefore always possible to undergo checks by officials of the Monopolies Agency or by soldiers of the Financial Police. As regards Switzerland, it is sufficient to fill in the appropriate prescription drawn up on the appropriate form which is then inserted into the dedicated box. A smartphone can also be used
You have anticipated my arrival. I will be spending a week in Switzerland in August, staying in Interlaken while I take the same trips you took in the Jungfrau Valley and more. I won't be taking either the Bernina or Glacier Express, but I will take the other grand train, The Golden Pass, from Interlaken to Montreux on my way to France. Happy traveling in Italy.

Kuga I love your travels but just a few minutes into your video I'm seeing you need a better HD camera. Years and years ago (maybe 2011?) we watched an old couple from the UK traveling around Switzerland. They had a 1080p camera but it was so good.
