Minna-Jima Island is a fantastic place to visit if you want to enjoy a gorgeous pristine beach with babies or kids in tow. It is located a short 15min ferry ride from the port of Motobu Town, and has all the facilities you require to cater for a family day at the beach:
– the ferry terminal at Motobu Port is air-conditioned and has chairs, vending machines, and a baby-change table in the all-access toilet
– the ferry is air-conditioned inside and lovely and clean
– there are toilets, showers, food, and rental umbrellas etc at Minna-Jima Island
– there is a protected swimming area
