Travelers Todd Michelle hey we’re traveling around Disney and we have just tried hakito Chinese and Japanese all you care to Dine restaurant and we were in for a big surprise so come along and let’s see what hakito had to offer us today there are several Hokkaido Chinese and Japanese Buffet locations we went to the one in the corner of Winter Garden Vineland Road and South Apopka Vineland Road which is just a little Northeast of Lake Buena Vista it’s a Chinese Japanese buffet and it is actually the same shopping center and right beside our favorite Mexican Al Patron and right down this way is a steak and shake and Giordano’s Pizza so this is at the corner of 535 and Palm Parkway just on the other side of where Olive Garden was and five minutes away from Disney Springs [Music] [Music] Travelers we have made our way into an all-you-can-eat Chinese and Japanese Buffet this is my special request somebody wanted to see an Asian right so we decided to have Chinese and Japanese Cuisine exactly and it is called hikaido it is right the try beside Patron El Patron that we go through Mexican this is in the exact same shopping center and we didn’t even so somebody requested a like Michelle said so we said okay we’re gonna go give this a try because we’d seen it but never walked into the place and from the pictures of the food from the food to watch them make the food we may have found a spot [Music] and they also have a seafood and salad bar right here very clean very nice a lot of people keep filling stuff in and bringing more stuff out but that is the salad bar and Seafood Bar and then we start with the mains right here um General sauce chicken bourbon chicken sauteed vegetables chicken and broccoli my favorite low main right over there this is the hotline and there’s two more hotlines to go they have fried dumplings and bowels and sweet and sour shrimp and chicken those look like crab rangoons the donuts more fried shrimp little egg rolls big egg rolls oh man I cannot wait to eat some of this food it looks they’ve got chicken wings and you can smell them from here and then over on this side they have the pulled pork baked chicken they get fish peel and eat shrimp that are hot vegetables crawl bags mussels and crabs they’ve got a little bit of everything I think I am going to start with the Hibachi Grill they make it fresh here you pick all your vegetables and stuff right here and then you come over and pick your uh meats and stuff right over here and then you take it to the grill and he cooks it up for you so this is my Hibachi plate he’s waiting for me I want to hand him that I’ll throw it on the grill one of my favorite ways to eat Teriyaki soy or hot sauce which we’re going to go with you know me but everything looks so good that’s another plate getting ready to come out there’s just so much food here I’m so excited and the Hibachi is right by the sushi um station so I’m gonna get some sushi bar before I head back to the table but they make it right there hand rolled and fresh I love the fact that they spread everything out to make sure everything gets cooked properly and see he cleans the grill it’s just like a black stone massive black stone she’s making sure the meat is efficiently done yeah a little moisture right there get that nice Steam on there tell them there we go now we’re gonna bring in the noodles and a little bit of moisture oh man I have been longing for this it’s been so long Teriyaki yep I’m going teriyaki on that that’s good no sorry no a little bit a little bit we’ll get a little soy give it a little saltiness perfect perfect so it’s cooked the water just like I wanted it beautiful beautiful beautiful and since I’m near the sushi bar I’m gonna get some shrimp tempura and California roll shrimp temperature is right here made fresh I just watched me make it and now the California roll we’ll get a couple pieces of this so me and Michelle went up and got our Foods I’m starting with the Japanese hibachi which I show look at that that’s my it’s got broccoli and all the other stuff beef and I went ahead and got some sushi because they make hand rolled sushi up there so I got a California roll and shrimp tempura grilled kind of buffet yeah there is no it looks it looks me like I was looking at the cleanliness of the restaurant everything looks fine yeah it’s a little older it’s just you know a little over the restaurant but we’re going to give it a try and it’s only 14.99 then 13.99 for lunch and then the dinner was Seven Seventeen yes yes they have everything imaginable up there like and they have a dessert bar okay let’s get okay what are you gonna try you wanna try the soup I really think you should try it okay just in case we get it I will try the soup it’s kind of really great okay cheers honey to our new adventures this is going to be interesting it actually tastes like you know how you get egg drop soup sometimes and there’s not much taste that has some great taste and I can and I was making fun of her because she wanted to try soup first okay that is really good nothing when I get sick that is fantastic yeah but it still works okay I’m gonna try my Japanese um and Michelle’s trying her bow it’s so soft it looks good it looks good so am I gonna break it apart like you know like it’s supposed to have there you go well if I’m not mistaken that might look like a bail bond I’ve seen himself another sure I will try that with you there we go oh man that is soft here we go is that like a teriyaki chicken I think I’ve just said I think it said I don’t know there’s like 100 items up there yeah there’s stuff everywhere it almost tastes like a bean pasty yeah that’s really good though but there’s a meat I think it’s a beef but the bun itself is nice and soft I don’t know much that I done I’ll find out until you Hannah yeah there you go that’s really good yeah it is it’s like a bar I think it’s a barbecue pork yeah no I think it’s pork oh that’s really good yeah it’s up there one’s like a shredded bark I’m gonna have to get those on the next time so since Michelle talked me into her Baba and I talked her into my stir fry so here we go it’s like a teriyaki teriyaki soy stir-fry with a little garlic we used to go to a Hibachi place is that what that is like a Japanese hibachi in years and years and years ago Mongolian Grill this is what I’ve been looking for for a long time the Mongolian girl is like a big round grill that they would grow the vegetables this is like the same kind of thing it’s just a flat Taco they do have fresh I called it a black stone it looks like a big black stone Grill they do have seafood and there is raw seafood so be careful when you go through that Hibachi line and like I said I’m gonna grab some California roll while I was there that’s nice because I like the beans probably I know yes can’t get through a fast food hamburger restaurant for the same amount of money as this no way your choice of whatever and this is just plate one I’m sure there’ll be many more I’ve never in my life well no that’s not true I have had the tail part yeah but I can’t even begin to tell you how to eat that of course I needed sweet and sour sauce so while I was up there I picked up a couple more things so that is a bow bun baked chicken I know is right there and then pepper steak I believe it is and then General South okay there’s a buffalo wing right there crab rangoon the teriyaki chicken egg roll sweet and sour chicken there’s a dumpling um California roll and they appeal any shrimp and they have fried chicken and then of course the egg drop soup oh I got two because I had to go get sauce yeah you had to get some so we I wanted to try their General salad yeah I want you to try the generals downstairs I know I gotta go back and get some fried shrimp just like I said depending fast food they actually have chicken nuggets that tastes exactly like the chicken not only do they have chicken nuggets they also have macaroni and cheese so if you get the picky the picky eaters in the family they’re gonna find something here also yeah okay with the sweet I should have put sweet and sour salsa I haven’t tried the shrimp tempura this is pretty good too how’s the chicken oh it is I’ll be passing on that um Michelle did have a crab rangoon off camera but she said it was really good it is good it’s a little boring you want to try it it’s probably like um before okay I’ll try that I’ll try for it yeah I’m just gonna pull it off oh yeah it’s a little bit warm but not too bad um not tough not tough at all again you have hundreds of things and you’re eating something oh no I’ve been looking for this for years fried shrimp up there okay I’ll be back dumplings I’ll definitely be back now okay stop I gotta go get more food okay plate two Michelle convinced me to go get more food yeah fried shrimp um sweet and sour chicken sweet and sour shrimp I got one of those skewers that she had me try because they brought out a brand new pan of it chicken and broccoli my favorite Chinese food of all time and of course some Lo Mein Kind of reminds me of this stuff but we’re going to give this a try it’s not really really much to look at it so there’s not much to do I’m with a group or another person yeah it’ll be fun but the food so far is very tasty I like it I just bit into the rag I tried the buffalo wings yeah it was a little you can smell it when you go up there but the rain goons I’ve always we’ve always been in search of a good Rangoon we had one back in Ocala back in the day this this matches it it’s got that nice sweet cream cheese and oniony and I think um like Asian like Chinese food is kind of like I think people kind of get their favorite taste and their favorite restaurant and that’s kind of what they set with it’s been hard for us to find a place down here you know it hits all the parts like I was trying to like the um crispy egg what do they call the Crispy Crunchy oh yeah the noodles for the egg drop soup which it sounds like a small thing egg drop soup was good the rangoons were oh my God I could go get a bite of those those are really good those are really good my favorite’s always the fried like nibachi I love the fried vegetables so Michelle’s going up to the Hibachi bro I finished the rest of my dinner because she needs something new and fresh all right of course I had to go back for more Michelle got her hibachi go ahead show them that amount of Weights Travelers if you’re liking what we’re doing and where we’re going go ahead and hit that subscribe like and thumbs up and all that good stuff what’s that you got a crawl Daddy I think we have these once before way back when we first moved yeah and I’ve looked up on how to eat it I can’t begin to eat Italian so I’m gonna just attempt to try to get this so our normal one’s fun yeah cringe because they’re like yeah all of our Louisiana peeps you can tell her how to do that but I made my perfect plate are you supposed to eat the claws no I don’t think you eat the claws are you sure I don’t know I’ve never I’ve tried it I just eat potatoes that is she’s going to try to eat that how do you eat that guys are you supposed to no I would think you would like okay that just seems like an awful lot of work yeah I think it’s just a tail honey it tastes like um what is that stuff that seafood boil stuff um Old Bay seasoning that’s what it tastes like no you don’t know but I wouldn’t make my perfect plate fish to um yeah I can’t no she can’t do that what I’m definitely lo mein crab rangoons and chicken and broccoli after that this is a perfect Chinese plate for me okay she’s going for the tail you’re supposed to suck out the head and everything I don’t know if I can do this oh trying to watch her to eat this crawdad is just well I suppose this is like yeah you gotta bring that out right yeah see this is a lot of work for me now you gotta digging the tail out no see how it comes often this summer one piece so you did all that work for that little morsel so that’s not bad yeah that’s not bad I guess how’s it taste like Old Bay seasoning chewy obey seasoning okay we finished eating Michelle thought we were done I am not because I still got to go to the dessert bar and they have ice cream so I’m going to take you guys along with me so we can look at the dessert bar and the ice cream and I’m not sure what Michelle’s gonna do because she said she’s done no dessert for her you sure about that actually let me get some bananas there we go now she’s going to eat healthy fruit and bananas they did have some good looking melanos okay I get the little donuts with the chocolate pudding which they have the little Donuts up there by the way did you see those the sugar donuts are up there so okay let’s go take a look at the dessert bar here we go they have little Mandarin oranges and this is the nice fruit area like I said they have chocolate and vanilla pudding coming up here not sure what that cake is over there I might have to give that a try and of course The Fluffy cakes the orange Jello let’s go on the other side see what that stuff is over there and as every Chinese restaurant always have bananas with um the strawberry sauce the butterfly crackers I call them metal paneers they’re one of my favorites coconut cake right there mango cake right there puffcake and cinnamon cake and this was a Swiss roll so we’re going to try some of that while we’re here let’s go see what they have for ice creams okay so you grab a cup for your ice cream and this is the ice creams and then it looks like they got some of the sherbet in there and also over here but this is a Serve Yourself so everybody kind of grabs this phone so just and this is their extra ice creams right over here but the strawberry is usually always my favorite I might have to come back and get some of that we went ahead and went to the dessert bar you know Michelle I’m not going to get very much and then I pointed out um why do Chinese restaurants always have bananas with strawberry sauce and now I know because Michelle goes and she gets what she gets so this is her non-dessert plate which if I forget to tell you back just they have Ranch they have lettuce and they have chocolate pudding she used to mix all that together when she’s little don’t ask us why the pizza place we used to go to so by the way if I forget to tell you they’ve got your laundry out here so Michelle loves the donuts with the chocolate pudding and she loves these bananas with strawberries I have no idea and they have little baby mandarin orange slices up there those are my favorite too yeah those are our favorite too but this is her non-dessert it’s actually probably better than mine this is the fluffy cake now it looks like it’s got a cheesecake up there and this was supposed to be a cinnamon cake but that doesn’t look cinnamony it looks fluffy okay uh there’s them elephant ears I call them elephant ears but they’re right there and they said this is a mango cake but I think that’s more like a flan that looks like more like a mango cake so okay we got one of the same thing we’re two same things let’s get the cake it’s a deadly pineapple yeah let’s get the coke this cake the fluffy cake with the cheese top this is your jiggly cake no it’s not jiggly the other’s more jiggly so let’s give this a try I have like sweet cheers that’s really good it’s like a vanilla it’s like a cheesecake layer with a vanilla cake not overly sweet I’ve noticed that about Chinese and Japanese type of desserts they’re not overly sweet this is really good I bet you’d be good with the strawberry sauce on top of it [Music] no that’s good but we tried this little mango yeah this is the mango cake yeah I think it’s mango is it orange I don’t care what it’s in the citrus family this is a citrus cake but this is fantastic they have a whole tray of them up there I might go get a couple more that is just so good there’s something that comes in at the end yeah it’s definitely orangey but it’s light not overly sweet no they don’t make them here they come in Frozen they’re so good yeah this is fantastic and my banana Hunter banana Sarah banana okay Travelers we have come to Akita oh oh gosh that’s like a chocolate covered banana with strawberry okay I’ll give you that we’ve come to hakito very first time here I will have to say it’s so close to Disney property if you’re looking for a great value to come with the whole family right off property get out of the hustle bustle but have a good meal this might be the place to come we are north of that Lake Buena Vista Crossroads not very far just like a red light or two not even like half a mile once yeah once again at the corner of 535 and Palm Parkway it’s uh kind of like a restaurant well back behind where Palm Parkway is what he’s talking about you can look on the map that’s a whole new area that’s just now being developed and they’re opening up some apartment home type places back there there are lots of hotels and it’s going to a brand new shopping center that’s where the Portillo which is in White Castle but I was going to say this area we’ve had one viewer that expressed some concern about the lake area I don’t see that here I think the area that she was talking about was orlo orlo bonson Highway which actually is like the lower part of Walt Disney World property it’s down like where I consider an old Kissimmee area yep um and that also is known as Restaurant Row but we’re North like Lake Buena Vista side right I don’t have any concerns if you come here about safety on the parking lot you’re gonna take regular precautions just like you’re in any town that you’re not familiar with you want to make sure that you know you you know are aware of where you’re going but I feel safe coming here I feel safe telling you guys to come here I don’t see any problems or anything we’ve never and we come to there’s actually a Dollar Tree in here that we come to so it’s very family yeah oriented here you see a lot of families with kids so um you know don’t be afraid to venture out again it’s only like not even two or three minutes outside of like one of this yeah so if you can get yourself there you know and nowadays there’s Uber and the different lifts and stuff you can get to get places but it might be worth it like I said in this Plaza is El Patron which is our favorite Mexican restaurant um Giordano’s which has the best deep dish pizza I’ve had now this place with a Japanese Chinese Olive Garden right next door I mean Wawa in the parking lot yeah there’s plenty of places to save money get good food yeah the Hot Pot we went to was like right Patty Corner yeah I forgot about that you and me sweating um IHOP is right there there’s the Denny’s across the street my birthday breakfast right next to um right kind of behind the Olive Garden yeah that’s right there and then right across the street is Chili’s and Macaroni Grill um yeah there’s a ton of stuff there so don’t be afraid to venture off property and like you said we only come 15 to 20 minutes off proper this is a good choice this is a good choice I’m going to finish this little Mandarin cake Michelle’s gonna eat her banana with strawberries and chocolate pudding on it and travelers like we always say until next time travel and Adventures out there foreign [Music]
