I enjoyed Kyoto for being traditional, and Tokyo for being amazing and modern.

Apples and oranges comparison, they both offer very different things. However I will say that when I was in Kyoto last month it was overrun with other tourists. We focused on some of the smaller temples to avoid the crowds and had a good time, but I don’t think I’ll go back for a while.

I personally don’t enjoy Tokyo, I tend to avoid it when I visit. So I’ll go with Kyoto. 🙂 Lovely photos!

Impossible to decide. They are so different. Tokyo may win by sheer size and options. I love them both dearly.
