[Music] renowned for its famous beer snowy top mountains and beautiful green spaces there’s a lot to be explored in the city of saporo and in this video we’re going to show you the best highlights that the capitule of haido has to [Music] offer welcome to mariama park we’re just a few kilometers away from the center of of sapora city but this place is a nature Oasis it’s full of different kinds of gardens sports clubs and even a temple and a shrine the reason there’s so much snow around is because just a few days ago even though it’s 16° today it was only around 5° even though it’s already the middle of April that’s the end of winter here in Hokkaido [Music] [Music] we’re now going to visit Hokkaido jingu which is one of the most important Shinto shrines in the region it dates back to the latter half of the 19th century and revers for deities [Music] [Music] we love all of the peach juices in the feding machine and we just found a Fanta Peach we just translated the label and it’s actually Plum but still a very unique Fanta flavor for us [Music] we’re now going to hop on the subway to go to one of the most important attractions in town that’s the seor be [Music] Museum before you get to the museum you can check out the sapora factory which is a former beer factory turned into a shopping mall [Music] saporo Brewery was founded in 1876 making it the oldest beer brand here in Japan today there are five breweries still going of the sapora brand and we can visit the museum [Music] now visiting the museum is actually completely free but if you want to do a premium tour which includes a beer then you’ll have to pay 1,000 yen and book in advance as they often book out in advance we’ve now got to The Tasting Room and this is all of the different beers you can taste now for the tasting basically you have to go to a vending machine get a coupon and then you head to the bar and pick up this tasting slot there’s three different things you can try if you get the flight which is around 1,000 yen there’s the black labels the classic and the kakushi beer which is a specific beer in brute in haido [Music] we’re now going up the sapora TV tower which dates back to 1957 and it’s 147 m in [Music] height oh it’s the perfect time to go up [Music] so we’ve been up a few different TV towers here in Japan so far including in Nya but unfortunately this one is kind of overpriced at 1,000 yen because when you get to the top the whole area is covered in scaffolding the windows are super dirty yeah it’s bit over price [Music] also unfortunately one of the elevators is broken so you have to wait a long time to go up or [Music] down one of the more historic and famous attractions in town is the clock tower which as of 2021 became the oldest Clock Tower in all of Japan one of the last surviving western style structures in Toro this wooden structure was built in 1878 is one of the oldest building standing in the city and as such it has been designated an important cultural property the buzzing area of susino is B seen at night home to Japan’s largest Entertainment District north of Tokyo it is filled with neon lights lied with bars restaurants and shops suino is certainly the neighborhood to experience the porest nlife [Music] scene if if you want to head a little out of the city and you have some more time then you can head to sepor Art Park the art park opened in 1986 with the intention to Showcase Japanese artists and it stands a testament to support as an artistic and cultural city [Music] today thank you so much for watching and don’t forget to like And subscribe for More Travel content see you next time bye
