We traveled to SHIZUOKA, Japan and then to Nihondaira from Tokyo and saw Mount Fuji on the way. Shizuoka at night was lively and calm in the day time. The Nepali food there was amazing and the transportation / bus from Shizuoka to Nihondaira was great.

Mountain yasu’s successor the second shun Tokugawa hiada carried out his instructions and ordered a shrine to be built to enshrine Tokugawa yasu after his death and the Magnificent Shrine was made by one of the master Craftsmen of the Edo period Nakai masak the shrine was built using the finest Craftsman of the time and became a model for other toshu shrines all over Japan including the Niko toshu Shrine the Roman gate is located right after the ticket booth behind which the route leads past a stable a drum Tower and copper Lantern to the main buildings the Hayden and honden Halls the honden is the main Pavilion of the kunan toshu the isinoma which separates the main Shrine from the worship Hall was classified as a National Treasure of Japan in 2010 its structure is very elaborate and its color palette leaves no one indifferent the dominant red is punctuated with gold green blue and many other colors and other nuances the isinoma is the sunken space between the main hall and the worship Hall this style which started at Konan toshu became a new architectural standard for shrines and temples this type of building is also known as gongen zukuri the isinoma is an important space connecting the world of the Gods and the world of Mortals where Many religious rights are performed the last one the a Crest is upside down indicating that it’s not very yet and there is room for more ma’am suu Castle was built by Tokugawa yasu in 1586 which later served as his retirement home the shizuoka city at that time also known as sumu developed around the castle which remains at the center of the city none of the original Castle buildings however remain and the grounds now mostly consist of park space throughout its history the SU pcle has been destroyed and rebuilt many times with the Maji Restoration in the late 1860s the Tokugawa family was stripped of its power and the country’s new rulers dismantled the castle in recent decades however efforts have been made to restore the parts of the former Castle the East Gate and an adjoining guard Tower were reconstructed according to the original construction [Applause] plans which is basically the Eastern Gate of the C this has been reconstructed following the blueprint of [Applause] 1638 Park so these are the remains of the honmaru bori the in this is something which was a part of the Edo period and it’s still surviving
