JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG | tsukiji market, shinjuku, & meiji shrine ⛩️

welcome back to another japan travel vlog 🙂

In this vlog, we spent most of our day in Tsukiji market and Shinjuku. Tsukiji market is a must-try if you love food! everything was so yummy. Shinjuku was amazing it was so cool to see all the lights and big screens at night, so many food options and bars in this area. It can get crazy at night, so just be aware of your surroundings.

Below is the list of places we visited hopefully it can help you plan your visit

– Tsukiji Outer Market
To avoid lines BE there at 8am or a little earlier that’s when food places start to open. No need to be there at 6am since most food places aren’t open yet
– Meiji Shrine
The place is huge you could spend a lot of time here the vibes are so chill many small attractions to see kinda remind me of Central Park in a way
– NEWoMan Shinjuku (the mall I went to)
Lots of shopping near this area there is another mall across the street as well as smaller shops. Tons of food options near here too.
– Shinjuku private room Yakiniku Niko no Ito (the wagyu dinner)
It’s one of the best meals we had in Japan but make sure you get a reservation ahead of time it was quite the experience we loved every bite!

it’s so hot oh my God good morning Japan today’s Vlog we’re doing a challenge oh it got dark the 30,000 Step Challenge so far we’re probably at zero because we haven’t walked any we’re going to go to Shinjuku and we’re going to what’s the market s saki Market we’re going to go there and then some other stuff but today’s goal is to hit 30,000 steps and we’re going to try to walk as much possible just because you tend to miss out on things when you take taxi or Subway so today we’re just going to try to walk a little bit more do I have comfortable shoes no I have my loafers on today but it is okay because we’re going to push through oh my God no one know why Japan is so clean they they are literally cleaning the streets as we speak like they cleaned this every day but anyways we’re going to walk to the market it’s a 15-minute walk and Alex is leading the way also because it’s only 8:00 a.m. and things don’t really start in Japan until 10:00 so it’s pretty pretty quiet right now yesterday we left at 7:30 and it was even more dead today is like we left at what time is it right now 8 so it’s a little better now guys it is Monday morning look everyone’s in black and I F why cuz I’m all black too just a little bit wow oh wow inside here too I see no wonder why people say come at 5:00 a.m. C yeah uh by the way okay okay medium or small um small uh to uh scallops on thank you we got a wagu A5 wagon and now we’re going to eat our sweet potato while we wait so good it’s cold care wow so sweet but it’s so good it m wow wow the fat just like melts in your mouth wow that’s so good Alex also got is that scallops I’m going to put a little seafood sauce on this scallop wow that’s so good what’s that it’s fried beef beef h [Music] good it tastes like a they have the famous melon bro those melons in New York are like a 100 bucks and now we’re about to try it for a slice of it for $3 less than $3 let’s eat the melon M my God that is so so juicy try it it’s so soft so juicy huh yeah it is it’s so tiny it’s a pocket cam really yeah I love that it’s by the brand DJI DJI it’s a Chinese brand really can I take a picture yeah of course yeah of course go ahead we are here eating oysters now oh my God these are fat oysters okay guys okay guys I’m so scared H oyy so oyy okay no I very miny but it’s really good wow it’s creamy M it’s so good it’s creamy at the end you get that so good wow wow I recommend just for the experience one is good very good very very good top five top five KAG M okay only because I think they they’re not fresh so it’s not as CR yeah fair enough but the flavor is really good this exactly what you said probably the best flavored we had mm I agree I’m getting white peach smoothie and a pomegranate drink hi Cory could I say is it so good wow I love fish cakes Sal salmon how much you got out [Music] look at the food Vlog I want to try the he has Wasabi on wow that is bread there’s a b in here that’s an octopus that’s a SHP oh it’s wait for it to Tha a little bit okay we’re eating A5 wagu C I want to try it with the sea salt Alex got a ice cream sandwich Japanese edition it’s not cookies on the outside it’s a little cracker almost Vlog we are at the Mii Shrine and we are at 4,000 steps we actually took the subway here because it would have been a 2-hour walk and that just too much of our day wasted but we are here and we’re going to go explore inside apparently there’s a garden it’s like a huge Park Shrine so we’re going to go check it [Applause] out you spit out spit it out [Music] it number okay that’s it Y and then I have to put some money to she was going to not put money can you believe that that’s not true this is for Peace of Mind peace of mind you someone we know could use this some we know yeah and then we got a good fortune someone we know also could use this a lot of people why it’s a general thing yeah but also mine is okay blue cous wa just keep see how good it is it’s not too hot seems like it might be oh God oh God it’s so cheesy like the Minature Turtles from the corner the just [Music] like yeah I wish there was more Char on the bottom but no worries what’s that CH Tanuki it’s the chicken this chicken is really good we went shopping and I got myself a leabo perfume and bought myself a boyfriend now we’re just on the Terrace of this mall and it’s so cute look it has a little green scenery three VI this is truku we’re still shopping and look it tells us this is 500 M all the way over here and it’s 750 um fun walk project and everyone participating yes let’s walk and this is a train station and this is the mall this is Alex is that Kim K oh my God he’s Kim K got the Big W races W look at that oh there he is Godzilla Godzilla mang wow we made it to him finally ah I’m scared what I’m getting I’m I should leave got he said like what country are you from or something like that um he was testing my gangster I couldn’t I couldn’t let him do that you know what I mean like he said get on my country no he was like what country like he said uh are you Country I think he what what he meant to say was like he’s not homeless I’m yeah that was pretty W I’m going to put on my glasses out so no one knows I’m like staring at them we’re taking a rest now we are walking for a while and we are in Shinjuku and I have no clue where we are but this park or Square it’s giving mad Washington Square par like they be doing bad crackhead homeless people and I didn’t know Japan had this side you know to it but they do and I also got the melon drink from Starbucks they have so Japan has that really expensive happy birthday but anyways Japan has the melon and I got the drink look at them they’re jumping up and down they’re just so happy they’re so drunk this is just crazy oh my God and we’re just enjoying it yeah enjoy the madness we’re eating Waggy tonight and we literally have our own room sitting in the little seat have to take off our shoes this look so yummies okay which one do one in my 20 years of living I have never seen a lemon juice little squeezer and there’s a little spoon part and where the juice comes out this is crazy Japan is living in 20 2050 so I’m going to show you guys while it’s done you just do this quite dry that’s all good here’s our first dish wagu sushimi with uni so cute look how pretty she is wagy be let’s go why you B and then how to this oh please shaking and rest okay and then we eat it with rest you get yeah you like put it on here this is Big Bite oh my God can’t is it very o I can’t get it in that is so fire more fire than you ever had in your life I’m sorry if that was very graphic I’m sorry and of let have yolk running bu theid back guys that Yol has Umami I don’t think from the beef or it just does and it’s not supposed to be this whole time oh baby where’s stupid I know that’s great this is what you yeah exactly this is what you expect from like this is like popping B in in your mouth like I was just eating the meat and some God shot it to my left cheek it was like wow just like oo the sizzly [Music] S show me something finished and we’re almost at 20,000 steps so we’re going to explore Shinjuku at night time and oh my god look behind me I’m not sure what they’re promoting but everyone has a sign both sides so we just asked the police officer what they’re doing and so I guess it’s she said it’s like boys club or Girls Club or something like that and you pay money to you drink with them I drink with the with the with the person that yeah whoever you’re paying so they and they all have a card that has like their rate on it so it’s like 500 should we do it yeah yeah wa we should make you’re right we should make friend while we’re what’s happening I don’t know how either but 60 Minutes for 40,000 let me get with that witch how much for that witch how much can I with an for an hour with that her no meat no life amen to that I’m so dead okay okay okay okay good morning guys last night I got two tires so I didn’t finish the Vlog but we were at how many Subs 2600 2600 unfortunately we did not finish the challenge we did try but the Japanese all the different cities like from Shinjuku to Shibuya is not really walkable distance it was literally going to be an hour and 40 minute walk or 50 minute walk of one of those I can’t remember and I just couldn’t I was like no so we took the subway but you know it’s all it’s all Gucci because I did everything wanted yesterday and it was good now we’re going to head out for the day bye guys bye
