As early as mid-January, the soft yellow canola flowers herald the arrival of spring at Irago Nanohana Garden in Aichi Prefecture. On the warm Atsumi Peninsula that stretches out into the Pacific Ocean, the sea of canola flowers will soon paint the landscape in lovely yellow hues through the end of March.
