If one of your beloved talents is convinced she's utterly replaceable, I think something is wrong. The talents make the company; they are its backbone and face. Niji's business model actively hinders their existing talents, sabotaging their mental health.

Every day the “you’d be nothing without Niji” evidence just keeps piling up, but thing is this has always been the modus operandi in East Asian businesses.

Why else do you think Japan got its reputation for working its people to death for a pay that’s not even that great? Because they make you feel you’d be nothing, that once you’re out the door, you’re setting yourself up to starve.

And a lot of the corpo heads will actually stand by that threat. Once they fired you they will slander your name into the ground to make sure no other companies will ever want to employ you again, sounds familiar?

It’s why in other countries like China, there’s a lot of youths just up and say “Fuck it, if you’re gonna ruin my life, then I’m not gonna contribute to your economy or have any kids. You’re all going down with me, bitch.” Since that’s like the only method of rebelling they have left.

I don’t know, the feeling of being replaceable is one most content creators feel… Cuz we are. We see it all the time. I don’t know how many vtubers I’ve seen take breaks for logical reasons, come back, and found that their audience moved on. It’s concerning that Enna feels this way with the fact that she’s supposed to be promoted by Niji, but we all know that’s not really happening.
