I’ve mentioned it in another thread, but there’s almost 0 chance Sony will buy AC. They literally just dissolved one of their vtube agencies(Prism Project), and are bleeding money in almost every branch. One of the few branches making any money is their PS section, and even then are barely earning any profit, much less make up for the rest of the company.

On the off chance SONY buys AnyColor, its really over for them. SONY has a bad track record with handling VTubers. Sure, Sony Music is a different branch, but not only they are ceasing operations for Prism Project, they also screwed up management for Kaguya Luna in the past.

Riku should just sell the whole company to BiliBili or Tencent, China in general since that’s where he getting the most fans. NijiJP fans can’t sustain the company.

Stated in my “could someone buy Anycolor” thread to Sony responses if they were interested in buying they wouldn’t have dropped PRISM but folded it in after acquisition. It’s making me wonder if a: the Niji situation influenced that decision, and b: how long before they pull out of Niji.
Given the connection both brands could have done better since Calli (Niji competitor) signed with UMG (Sony competitor), but I guess they are both dropping the ball there
