No no no, If anycolor actually established a proper overseas branch /office, they will be harassed by the local laws, Tazumi’d yatch wouldn’t be able to afford that 😉

Keeping in mind the revelations of certain things from other content creators and the mere fact that their SOLE OVERSEAS BRANCH (EN) has a legitimate question on its viability to grow in the International market (in fact, they have LOST growth)…

It will not make any financial or practical sense at this point or in the near future.

Hololive is committing to invest oversea, while for Nijisanji it just a quick buck instant noodles style that happen to sales much more than they thought. They are way too underprepare for going oversea
Opening an office means they have to comply to local labour law as well as facing a *’bad’* defamation laws, can’t have that.

The most “support” the non-JP livers can expect from Niji EN management is to eventually get reimbursed for their plane tickets to Japan, several weeks or months after they actually travel. Maybe.

I’m not knowledgeable about HoloEN at all, but I’ve seen people say NijiEN is so split apart internationally that to Anycolor, setting up a studio in one country most livers would have to fly into anyway would be more expensive than just flying people into Japan for a few weeks when they’re needed.

The stock of niji is in the garbage at least in the en side. Hololive is dreaming much bigger than Japan and they are already pretty dominant there. I’d surmise that letting everyone go and restarting the en branch from the beginning would be a better idea than continuing as is for niji.
They can’t even hire decent managers. What makes you think they would invest in a Western Office?

In all seriousness, their main markets are in Japan and Asia. With how little they seem to want to actually invest in an EN market, they are not going to be making any moves like this quite frankly ever.

even if they wanted to start one right now it would probably take a year or two to set things up and seeing as how the branch is currently, chance is that the branch would probably fold first.
Ignoring that an overseas office would put Niji at risk of having to follow non-Japanese laws (a problem when they seem to have issues with Japanese laws as is), funding something like that costs money that isn’t going to stock buybacks or yachts

Zero. If they have assets incorporated in the US, it would be much easier for US employees to sue them and actually get a payout.
(Standard disclaimer that I’m not a lawyer. That said, several lawtubers have mentioned the lack of a US/Canadian company as one of the reasons it would be so difficult for NA-based people to sue AnyColor and actually get anything out of it)
Actually you know what? It isn’t zero. It *should* be zero, but we’ve all seen that AnyColor isn’t bound to things like common sense, or a basic grasp on reality.
So…..probably like 5-50%, depending on how sleep-deprived the underpaid high school students are when the proposal first lands on their desks.
They seem to be doing the literal opposite of expanding. Their EN members are slowly moving to Japan and assimilating into the JP branch.
The most they would do oversees is more yachts.
This would require investments… And Anycolor doesn’t do those… the only investments Riku does, is buying back stock. US branch? If the liver would pay for it, maybe…
