Hating a person or a group of people, solely because they are or are not of a particular race, is racism.
Disclaimer: I’m a moderate liberal Asian American, not white.
I think it’s very clear at this point that a lot of the “systematic racism” crowd don’t know what the term means and are just using it to justify their racism. And if they do know what it means, their fixation on getting even with the race with privilege and not the system gives off the impression they don’t care about dismantling the system because they want to be the ones with privelege one day. Most rebels become the very same thing they once fought against. The problem with systematic racism is the system, regardless of which race is at the top.
Edit: And if anyone wants to dispute this, my race was slaughtered by the Ming and the Qing. The Ming were Han Chinese and the Qing were Manchu. Different races, similar system of southern expansion, minority scapegoating, and civil war rebel punishment. And ironically, Mao actually liked my people for some reason. Same race as the Ming (Han Chinese), a different, but still terrible system.
Damn, that has to be the quickest way to reveal you are an American without mentioning your nationality.
In Europe we are racist to every skin colour no matter what we ourselves are, this is true equality.
These people cite high academia without understanding it. Scarier is when these people have been through academia, and still don’t understand it.

Racism is racism. I wish “those” people could be more open about being racist. Being racist is bad, but being racist while hiding behind the veil of self-righteousness, convincing themselves that they are not racist is so much worse.
America didn’t invent the dictionary. The word is there to be understandable, not to suit your warped world view.
