Especially if you’re going to be heading to Osaka and Kyoto and that is potentially heading and spending a night maybe even two in Hiroshima and that’s a a great location um Mima island is quite spectacular and Hiroshima has a lot of history and it’s a very interesting City it was basically

Rebuilt from the from the ground up after World War II after the atomic bomb and um and the whole vibe of the city is it’s very unique and very positive actually so I always recommend people try to check out um Hiroshima City um also for the amazing delicious

Okonomiyaki the Hiroshima style which is very unique very special very cool apart from that um you might want to also um check out places like kazawa which is very cultural sort of similar to Kyoto in a way minus the hordes of tourists um I really like kanazawa it’s

A great City walkable City too um and then if you do want to sort of like um do a little bit more like um like off the beaten path sort of places then ooh what’s going on my internet is going a bit funny this is the first time I’ve ever had issues like

This interesting anyway I think I think it’s it’s back um if you do want to go a little places a little bit off off the beaten path then you want to maybe check out places like onomichi um places like um ashikaga and even moroka the your world’s your Japan the

World’s your oyster in Japan there’s plenty of places to check out I think ultimately it’s make the ittin yours make the easy to to travel and and um walk around and travel not not having to do too many detours sorry everybody else um slow local trains from Narita is

Now going to Japan this week whoa shine nice one for the first travel travel I prefer to avoid most crowded periods I think that the end of September end of October should be less crowded um you know actually Japan is becoming so freaking popular that I don’t think

There’s a less crowded period anymore maybe February maybe this this month specifically um but um yeah it is getting kind of heavy and don’t forget to hit that like button everyone don’t forget to um to support in that way and if you do want to support financially the link there

Months before so it’s a little bit little bit earlier you’ll find that probably when you start April May June July August if you start looking around April you’ll probably see um a lot more accommodation options um so just bear that in mind did you know that part of

Japan’s history yeah is in Spain in andalia really namami esta tell me I I live in jalta which is basically next to andalia so I want to know what this Japan’s Historia in andalia is when will you be visiting Japan hoping this doesn’t intrude on your privacy and

Safety no um I will tell you when I’m visiting I’m going to be visiting Japan on the 28th of of um of March um for about 10 or 11 days and then I’m going to be visiting Japan on the 10th of July all the way to the 22nd of August so

Yeah going solo travel and I love it solo travel is so much fun guys um just do it don’t wait for people 54 days left for me that’s nothing 54 days unfortunately me and my daughter are going there during golden week okay m with no life I’m going to give you some

Advice and that is golden week those specific days you’re going to have to really really really um focus on having a very tight itinery and um and bear in mind that there will be some delays potentially with travel but um ultimately you’ll be fine don’t worry I’m planning a solo trip to Japan

And I still had a question about IC cards does a we card work on every trade in Japan Jr pass is not recommended for my trip and I’m planning a travel a lot okay the Jr the the sua card um a few things you need to remember s

Is pretty much available to use on on most um on trains however there will be some potential like um inaka or like Countryside or rural areas where maybe Suka will not be you won’t be able to use sua however the number one rule for Suka is just to remember

That you cannot use sua to change regions so from one region to another region you won’t be able to use Suka basically but once you’ve moved onto the new region you can then use your IC card and I don’t want to use the word s I

Want to use the word IC card because pretty much most of them are interchangeable with one another another so for example from Tokyo to to um to Kyoto you won’t be able to use an an IC card to tap unless you on the shinkansen

Or on on a um on a train to get there but once you are in in Kyoto you’ll be fine I usually recommend Hiroshima I had two nights there and I wish I’d had longer definitely on my go to go back to list um yeah Hiroshima is a pretty

Spectacular place I really like the the people also in Hiroshima I cannot get to grips of Chopsticks and I was planning on taking my own emergency plastic fork is this okay is it considered rude um you know what I think that you’re a tourist and ultimately um you’ve got

This thing called The Tourist um you know like the Foreigner card which basically means that you know certain things that might not necessarily be polite for for someone who lives there um you can get away with do what makes you comfortable and you know what by the

Third day of using Chopsticks you’ll be fine you’ll see you’ll learn is 100 yen 100,000 enough for a 7-day trip um in Tokyo Sak and Kyoto keeping in its small like hostels and capsule hotels if it’s including um accommodation I’m not very sure you’d have to um figure out how

Much accommodation is and then what the leftover is I keep on saying this to everyone and that is that ultimately the the budgeting for a Japan trip really does depend on what sort of trip you want to have you could basically go to Japan and spend 3,000 and a day eating

Comini food um walking a lot not using not taking a lot of public transport and having Ram in um you know so that is a possibility but obviously when you’re in Japan especially for the very first time you’re going to want to include some um tour sites temples that cost money um

Observation Decks that might cost money and you might want to obviously spend a little bit more on a better meal and you might want to be efficient and travel from one point to another with without having to walk too much so it is a very difficult question um I could tell you

That um when I go to Japan I probably spend being quite quite um relaxed with my money but not really like splashing out um on average I would say like a 7,000 yen 6 or 7,000 yen maybe 8,000 Yen a day spending money that would be for

Transport for cheap food for food for meals um and that a little bit of of um of like souvenirs or whatever I I feel that I need to buy and usually what I do is I res set myself a target of 7 or 8,000 Yen spending money a day then um

Basically maybe I will I will um I will whatever I don’t use on a day rolls over to the next day whatever I don’t use on that day rolls over to the next day and then sometimes I find that maybe I’ve only spent 5 or 6,000 yen in in 3 days

And on the fourth day I don’t have I have a lot more because it’s rolled over if that makes that’s sort of my rule what is your rule when it comes to spending everyone I think taga Ina prefecture is really cute but I do not speak Japanese

If you don’t speak Japanese it may be impossible interesting canaz I like hyoto but maybe more old buildings kazawa is really cool really really cool and there is a kazawa guide two kazawa guides that I recommend that you check out from my on my channel Channel um and it’s really interesting

I’ve been getting a lot of new comments on really old videos videos from 2017 2016 some of you guys are going back on my catalog I’m watching my terrible early days of of YouTube 9ine Days Tokyo has many days it’s perfect for exploring Tokyo in in um in an average Place Pace

I we use the other days for day trips nine days you know what Tokyo is so big um and you could probably cover most of the the main spots and I say that likly main spots because like I say everyone is so different when it comes to what

They want from a trip any recommendations for Footwear in h kaido in mid January well I would say that um anything that um protects your your your shoes your feet from frostbite Nico great waterful and natural onet Niko is pretty cool I agree I agree so I’m just going through some

Their beds until six or seven months maybe six months before so if you start looking now for for accommodation in November you’ll see that they will be very limited and you might start panicking thinking that there isn’t enough but the reality is that those those beds are not available yet

Obviously Sakura season now if you’re going to start booking for Sakura now it’s a bit pretty difficult I will visit Japan on March do I need a special app for EAS warnings Etc um I recommend if you have an iPhone you can actually go into the settings

And you can actually turn on like a government notification that’s that’s free but you can use um yakuro um call I think it’s called check out my um what apps to install guide would you need a reservation for Chen um I would suggest that you do Reserve especially the shinen that goes

Between Tokyo Kyoto and Osaka that line is very very busy and um usually usually reserving the day before is fine um but if you can reserve a few days before and you know that the time that you’re leaving then you’re going to be pretty much fine especially around public

Holidays you got to be careful uh I was a solo it was so nice to be spontaneous we’re heading to Japan for a second trip in May we’ll be there for 3 weeks and we’re making the most of your videos to prepare thank you just want to say thanks for this fantastic work

Trip um and the Jr past work for me and I’ve actually ended up booking a lot of flights right now so I’m going to be flying from Tokyo to Okinawa then I’m going to be flying from Okinawa to kushu I’m going to be traveling around kushu

Then from kushu I’ll be travel I will be flying back to Tokyo so so I’m using Peach Airways as an alternative for longdistance travel instead of the Jr pass um and then when I am in kushu I will be getting the the one we um Regional pass for traveling hushu so

Look at the regional passes how many rle does it cost to have Lage transported from Hana airport to hotel in Tokyo um would you recommend any particular businesses or should you should okay the I think yamata um basically um luggage forwarders at the hotel usually probably depends on the size of

The of the um luggage but I usually pay around 1,000 between 1,200 1,500 Yen I would say probably to use recer between region you need to find the fair adjustment machine not quite a fair adjustment machine is just a fair adjustment machine do I like Yokohama yeah I love Yokohama I think

Yokohama has a Great China toown and it’s a very um modern city it’s very in a way very different and in a way more modern than Tokyo Mex I’m flying to oaka first and then and they don’t have S card there is there another option for traveling with
