I’m considering getting a GX100 Chaser as I am 16 and do not have anywhere close to the funds for a JZX. Is it even worth thinking about? It seems a large majority of chaser parts are for the JZX. Would a JZX exhaust fit a GX? Are there any turbo kits available? Any other ways to get more power out of it? I appreciate any advice you may have. Thank you.

This looks like the one from Japanese classics. If you want a Japanese car from them they are a good reputable spot but since you very young and probably inexperienced I would skip this even if it is selling for $9,995. parts for these things can be a lot of money and the fact that it’s an auto makes it great for daily but expensive for a project car especially if you want it to be a manual car.
Ive bought two great cars from them one being a Toyota Rav4L 2dr and a 4dr Integra with the integra costing 12k bone stock. If I were you and you want a “fast” car, I would save for something state side unless you have a lot of money set to the side to buy and build a JDM car

As a former Tourer V JZX100 owner and current jzx110 owner, It’s not worth, especially with how much these importers charge for these base model heaps of junk. Me and my friend send cars like these back and forth on insta laughing at the prices people are paying.
The only thing it has going for it is RWD, but you can find a Crown Vic or other similar American sedans that offer the same package and don’t suffer from the JDM tax.
It’s a base model so Engine sucks, trans sucks, interior is nothing special, boat suspension, high chance of death or bad injury in a serious crash, parts are annoying to source, if your window or body panel is smashed, replacements have to be shipped from Japan at high cost etc etc.
At least a Crown Vic has a V8 and like double the HP, while being cheaper and easier to find parts.
