Yatsugatake Echo Line runs through fields on the western foothills of Mt. Yatsugatake. While driving along this route, you can enjoy views of Mt. Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps and even catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji.

Dondo-Yaki is a fire festival which is usually held on January 15th. People gather New Year’s ornaments of the neighborhood in order to burn them in a big bonfire. It is said that if you eat rice cakes and dumplings baked on a bonfire, you can spend a year in good health.
